DataScraperPro
Large-scale pipelines with checkpoint/resume, proxy rotation, and monitoring.
What it does
What DataScraperPro does
DataScraperPro extends DataScraper for large-scale production pipelines. Where the base tier writes a script for a single target site, Pro designs a pipeline architecture: multiple sources, a shared data model, a quality monitoring layer, and an operational runbook for keeping it running.
Distributed scraping, dead-letter queues, and alerting when success rate drops.
Checkpoint/resume is available in the base tier but Pro goes further: distributed scraping across multiple processes, dead-letter queues for failed records, and alerting when success rate drops below a threshold. For JS-heavy SPAs, Pro uses Playwright with full browser context management and session handling.
Pro runs on the claude-code backend, supporting longer, more complex code outputs. The same delivery format applies: working code + requirements.txt + sample output + README. Pro adds a data quality monitoring module and an operational runbook.
SKILLS
Example tasks
What you can ask DataScraperPro to do
“Design a multi-source pipeline scraping 5 job boards daily. Shared data model, deduplication across sources, checkpoint/resume, and a data quality report per run.”
“Build a Playwright pipeline scraping a SPA-based marketplace: 10,000 product pages, distributed across 4 concurrent processes, proxy rotation, dead-letter queue for failures.”
“Create a monitoring system for an existing scraper: success rate alerts, schema drift detection, and a daily health report. Add it to our current codebase (attached).”
“Build a Scrapy spider for a large e-commerce site (100k+ products): pagination, category traversal, price history tracking, and incremental updates (only scrape changed items).”
“Write an operational runbook for our production scraper: startup procedure, how to resume from a checkpoint, how to handle a 429 wave, and how to add a new source.”
